Butcher and Chef

These were by Sherri Colvin. of Colvin Dolls. Every polymer clay figure is realistically sculpted by the atist with great attention to detail. The features are delicately painted and cured for durability and the period dress is generally handsewn in natural silk or fine cotton. Sherri is an academically trained sculptor and all of her dolls are one of a kind works of art.

Three Dolls

I love it when there are photos showing the comparative size of the doll with someone's hand. These ones are by Sherri Colvin

1:12 Scale Leprechaun Doll

Timothy O'Hearn, the miniature leprechaun, brings good luck wherever he travels.
He is handmade in 1/12th scale, and was sculpted without molds.
He stands 5 3/4" tall, (14.6 cm), to the top of his Irish Derby.
His hand sewn clothes include a suede green jacket,
with gold buttons and orange trim.
His coattails are lined in orange,
making him easy to spot running through the woods...
The vest features tiny gold buttons.
His hat is trimmed in orange, white, and green, with a tassel.
Although his hands and face are finely detailed,
he doesn't look his age of 200!
He comes with a shamrock, but he seems to have misplaced his pot of gold.

Historical Dolls

Miniaturists have all sorts of different tastes for the figures in their houses, and there's something to suit everyone! These dolls are made of the old 'dolly' pegs, rather than the porcelain or clay that many dollhouse dolls are made of. They're made by 'Uneekdolldesigns'

Happy 1930s Family

From Lone Wolf . People love to portray different eras in their dollhouses, and of course that means dolls to match. This is a 1930s family.

The Diet

This is from CWPoppets.
"The Diet is a 1/12th dollhouse scale scene.
The little hairy guy is 5.5 inches/ 14 cm tall. The photo's don't do him justice. He looks much better. ;-)
He is made of polymer clay with posable arms. His clothes are handmade from cotton prints.
The fridge is storebought but the vegetables and fruits inside are also handmade by me from polymer clay."
From Living: And it also looks like the fridge was hand made by *somebody*. I love his hairy feet! Definitely 'fluffy brick' quality to this.

Micro Minis -Father Christmas and Elf

He measures 5/12 inch tall plus hat, has a red suit trimmed with white “fur”, black boots and belt (with gold buckle), green mittens and comes with a silk toy sack.

This Christmas Elf is made from the tiny wire candy canes that were sold to decorate miniature trees. It is about 5/12th of an inch tall. He (or she if you wish) wears a green tunic, hat and shoes and got himself tangled in gold garland while trying to decorate the toy shop tree!
As well as 1:12 scale, there's also 1:144 scale.
This is from Weefolkandfantasy. And yes, they are real. They're either people for a 1:144 scale house, or ornament size for a 1:12 scale. A dollhouse for a dollhouse if you will.
So here, 1:144 scale Father Christmas, and Elf.

Black Santa

This rustic little black Santa is 1" / 1/12th dollhouse scale (5.5 "/14cm). He is a one-of-a-kind polymer clay doll entirely handmade by CWPoppets.
His arms and legs are gently posable. He carries a bag over his shoulder while he holds a walking stick in his other hand. His bag and trousers are handstiched with little christmas motives. His bootes are made of soft leather. His coat is lined with fur.
Santa is having a hard job carrying the heavy bag (well, think of his age!).
