Miniature Hairdresser's/Barbers

These photos came from Petra, and are of her miniature hair dressing salon which she blogs about. Thanks for emailing them to me Petra! She's from Germany, and she sent me a very nice email. :) I'm quite curious about this project- it seems like many different hairdresser and barber salons? I love all the details!

Pole Dancing

Something very different for today!
Leanne Eisen is an artist who used miniatures as a commentary on brothels and gender.
Make sure you look at her website to see the rest of them. Very interesting, and it's fantastic to see what people can use miniatures for!

Kerry Fawcett

Kerry Fawcett was the winner of the Tiny Competition. So today I am featuring her!
You can find her blog over here. I'm sure she'd appreciate followers! She's also an ebay seller. You can keep an eye on her!

She makes some fantastic looking food. Check it out!

This 'gingerbread' creation has been featured in a magazine!

Congratulations Kerry for winning- your prize will be in the post soon!

We Have a Winner!

We have a winner to my Tiny Competition!
21 people participated. Some people got 30-50 points, which is fantastic!
Yet, there can only be one winner.

Yes, I actually put the names into a hat.
And the winner is... Kerry Fawcett, from the UK!
Hopefully my minis won't be completely redundant for her- she makes great looking food herself!
A huge thankyou to all who participated. You're still very welcome to send me photos, and I love it when you talk about Fluffy Bricks!

Interiors of a 1:16 Dollhouse

"My houses are Lundby houses in 1:16th scale, but I usually change the wall surfaces and alter much of the furniture. These photos show the bedroom and basement living room in my oldest Lundby house. I have made the bookshelf and some of the lamps myself. The bathroom is from my newest house, the Lundby Stockholm and the house came with those walls, and the furniture is also Lundby, but I have found the accessories and done the lighting."

These photos are from Pubdoll.
Also everyone, don't forget that the competition ends on Thursday. Which means I'll wait until Australian time zone Friday to make sure Thursday is over everywhere. It's not too late to talk about Fluffybricks, twitter, post entries, or comment!

Kaleidoscope House Kitchen

"These images were taken in my Kaleidoscope House, and feature a mixture of new and vintage furniture in a kitchen setting. The house is situated near a window, so that is natural light." - Callsmall

Lego Miniatures

Something a little different today. These miniatures are all made from Lego, and are part of Legoland. The photos were taken by Riley. Make sure you check out her blog, she's got more photos!
And a reminder that the competition ends on Thursday, we're over halfway done. All you have to do for a chance to win is comment. For each comment you make, you get one more chance. Plus you can twitter about fluffybricks, post on forums, post on your own blog, for many more chances. Help me get the word out!

The Surgeon

This was made by Eva.
"I did this scene as a gift. I made it for my surgeon, a good guy that took care of me when I needed it.
I made the scene in humorous key thinking about his sense of humour and because it seems to me that good sense of humour is one of the best medicines.
It is a surgeon operating on a big bird :)
It is made 90% by myself, with polymer clay and with other materials."

House, Fishmongers, Book

More from my miniatures fair! A smaller scale dollhouse, a fishmongers with mermaid (Owned by W. Hale! And is the mermaid there because she broke in to eat, or is she fake to advertise the fish?), and Miss Havisham in Great Expectations, another 'vignette in a book' similar to Alice in Wonderland. Great work, isn't it!
