Hutches and What You can Do With Them

Michael's Hutches seem to be an addiction for Miniaturists from America! (From what I can gather, Michael's is a craft shop that has some cheap wooden miniature furniture).
Here are some examples of what you can do with hutches yourself.

These two photos are from "Debra From Olde Cape Cod", from Greenleaf Miniatures Forum. She made a Christmas and Spring box - The fireplace is a good idea!

Emily Morganti, Fov from Greenleaf Miniatures forum, a miniature enthusiast and freelance writer, used this Michael's hutch to make a bed! She also has a website.

Hopefully these will give you some inspiration. If you have examples of what you've done with Michael's hutches, feel free to point me to a link, or email them to me- I'd love to show them.

I almost got rid of some of these little Michael's hutches the other day but decided to keep them in case I figured out something to do with them. Did bash one for the witch's cottage and it's about time to bring it out and add a few touches here and there!

I love posts like this that remind me that value is where you find it. I see useless little hutches and these people see delightful miniatures!
